'Non Load' JP-5000 / FX-5 barrels
FST spent a lot of time on reducing costs for JP-5000 / FX-5 spare parts, and we succeeded in doing so. Today, FST is able to offer JP-5000 / FX-5 parts at competitive prices, while maintaining high quality. Send us your inquiry and we will prove that our prices are competitive!
As we all know, one of the “problems” using the JP-5000 / FX-5 can be barrel loading. FST developed a simple modification to the JP-5000 / FX-5 barrels reducing the risk of barrel loading. If you are interested in learning about this barrel, please refer to the 4”, 6”, 8” Barrel – Non Load.

Introducing the i-Products
FST is introducing the i Products. These products have an embedded Intelligent Technical Solution, and are therefore called: THE i PRODUCTS or INTELLIGENT SOLUTIONS PRODUCTS.
The first i Products introduced are the iPS-80 PowerArc and the iPS-50 PowerArc. These are two highly efficient, secondary chopped plasma power supplies that not only give a very stable plasma “flame”, but deliver the required plasma power in a far more efficient way. Savings up to 40% are possible.
The next i Product FST will introduce is the AP-25i. This manually operated plasma system will be equipped with the latest technology, being the MassView® flow controller. The MassView® flow controller replaces the conventional flow tube (rotameter) while maintaining the system’s robustness and ease of operation. The advantages of Mass Flow control remain: operating independently from inlet pressure and digital high accuracy display of your plasma gas flows.
The next time when you see an i Product from FST you know something special is included.

New Sourcing Strategy for Wires pays off
FST and Certilas (www.certilas.nl) have joined forces to optimize the sourcing and sales of Welding and Thermal Spray Wires.
Certilas is one of Europe’s largest Welding Wire Suppliers. The combined wire requirement is giving the combination FST/Certilas very strong purchasing power, and this does show in the price levels for most wires. “For Fe-, Ni-, Cu- based wires we have become one of the most competitive suppliers” says Han Kloosterman, responsible for sourcing of materials within FST.
“Joining forces in the sourcing of materials, in the servicing of the Welding market by Certilas and the Thermal Spray market by FST, together with the specialist know-how of each company, has enabled us to use our combined purchase power. That shows in our market prices and services provided to our customers” says Peter Gerritsen, owner of Certilas.
Send us your inquiry, and we will show you that our prices are competitive!

MASS-VIEW®; The New Way to Control your Plasma Gasses
FST introduces the MASS-VIEW® gas controller for controlling plasma gasses.
MASS-VIEW® is produced by Bronkhorst Nederland BV. The MASS-VIEW® controller is one of the FST i products.
The new MASS-VIEW® flow meter series are a digital alternative to the conventional flow tubes or rotameters. The MASS-VIEW® flow meter incorporates a digital bar graph of actual gas flow which is, thanks to the OLED (organic light emitting diode) technology, clearly visible from all angles. It indicates flow units, gas type and totalised figures. With built-in needle valve for flow control duties it is designed to mimic the straightforward features of a flow tube or rotameter, yet with the considerable added benefits of an electronic output signal, high measuring accuracy, virtual independence from gas temperature and pressure variations, no fragile glass components in the flow path. A new level in Customer Service
A further integration of H.C. Starck and FST’s global market activities brings about a new level in customer service. As of 1 January 2009 we will play a bigger role in the supply of smaller quantities (<120kg) of AMPERIT materials to the market. This initiative is a result of customer feedback indicating that the majority of the smaller consignments are also urgent.
Our enhanced service is achieved by increased inventory levels and by expanding our local distribution networks. H.C. Starck’s strength continues to be in the manufacture/supply of regular and larger quantities.
